Kanpur experience: UP police captures Vikas Dubey's cousin
The UP Police on Tuesday captured a cousin of killed criminal Vikas Dubey and professed to have recouped two weapons an AK - 47 rifle and an Insas rifle which aggressors had removed subsequent to killing eight police staff, who were a piece of the police group that had gone to Bikru town in Kanpur to capture Vikas Dubey trying to kill case a week ago.
Vikas was later killed in a police experience on Friday.
The captured individual has been recognized as Shashi Kant nom de plume Sonu Pandey, who was conveying a compensation of Rs 50,000 on his head.
During cross examination, Shashi Kant told police that he had concealed plundered government weapons on Vikas' bearing. On Shashi's data, police later recuperated an Ak-47 rifle and 17 cartridges from Vikas' home and an Insas rifle and 20 cartridges from Shashi's habitation," said Additional Director General, peace, Prashant Kumar.
