TikTok to open first European server farm in Ireland TikTok,

Claimed by China's ByteDance, said on Thursday it intends to open its first European server farm in Ireland with a venture of around 420 million euros ($499 million).

The server farm in Ireland will make several new openings, empower quicker stacking time and securely store European client information, Roland Cloutier, worldwide boss data security official of TikTok, wrote in a blog entry.

ByteDance said on Monday it was thinking about moving TikTok's base camp abroad, after a British media report that the unit could migrate to London

. Ireland is perhaps the greatest center for server farms and has tasks for significant innovation organizations, for example, Amazon , Facebook and Alphabet Inc's Google.

Enduring an onslaught from U.S. President Donald Trump over national security dangers, TikTok is in chats with Microsoft about selling its U.S. tasks. Trump said he will boycott the administration in the United States on Sept. 15 if there was no deal.
